Local Area Agreement (LAA)
Thurrock's Local Area Agreement is our delivery plan for our Sustainable Community Strategy. This sets out the key priorities for Thurrock and lays out how we will deliver our vision over the next three years (2008-2011). Thurrock's Local Area Agreement is also a contract between Central Government and Thurrock laying out key performance targets for future performance.
Thurrock's Local Area Agreement is made up of 7 priorities:

- Reaching your potential
- Embracing change and difference
- Supporting the vulnerable
- Reducing inequalities
- Leisure and healthy living
